What's the role?
As our Market Research Analyst supporting APAC, you’ll be at the heart of our data-driven transformation. You’ll harvest and analyse consumer, shopper, and retail insights, centralizing knowledge to empower our marketing, sales, and strategy teams primarily across Japan and Korea, but also working with Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India. Based in Tokyo, you’ll collaborate with global teams and lead projects that shape Zespri’s future, and will be responsible for the following:
- Consolidate and translate data into actionable business insights
- Track KPIs and analyse shopper, retail, and brand health data
- Capture and report on category, channel, and competitor trends
- Design intuitive data visualizations (Power BI, Excel, PPT)
- Train stakeholders to use data for agile decision-making
- Lead ad-hoc research projects with external agencies
- Support global innovation, strategy, and branding initiatives
- Build strong relationships with APAC and global teams
Who are you?
We are looking for a strong team player, who shows independence and can confidently thrive in an International Business environment. You will have a love for fruits and healthy foods, and possess the following:
- BA/BS in business, market research, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in market research (FMCG, pharma, or retail)
- Skilled in quantitative and qualitative research, data analytics, and visualization
- Proficient in English and Japanese; international experience is a must
- Effective communication with diverse stakeholders from different cultures.
- Proactive, collaborative, and resilient under pressure
