What's the role?
As Taiwan Operations Manager, you'll be the senior supply chain leader responsible for the operational success of one of Zespri's most important markets.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, Greater China Region, you'll lead the end-to-end execution of Taiwan's market operations, ensuring our fruit is available, delivered in optimal condition and supported by high-performing distributor partnerships. You'll serve as the key operational interface between Taiwan, regional stakeholders and New Zealand teams, influencing decisions that drive market performance and customer outcomes.
This role combines operational leadership, stakeholder influence and strategic problem-solving, giving you significant visibility across both the Taiwan market and the wider Greater China Region.
Key responsibilities include:
• Owning end-to-end Taiwan market supply chain operations, from shipment planning and inventory management through to market execution and customer delivery.
• Leading operational partnerships with distributors, ensuring alignment to Zespri standards while driving continuous improvement and performance.
• Overseeing fruit quality management and inspection activities, safeguarding Zespri's premium quality reputation in market.
• Driving inventory visibility, supply-demand alignment and proactive risk management across the supply chain.
• Leading claim governance and quality performance monitoring, ensuring robust reporting and resolution processes.
• Influencing operational excellence initiatives across Taiwan and Hong Kong, contributing to regional capability uplift, digitalisation and process improvement.
• Acting as the key escalation point for market operational issues and championing solutions that balance customer, commercial and supply chain priorities.
Who are you?
You're a commercially aware supply chain leader who thrives in fast-paced, relationship-driven environments. You know how to balance operational excellence with stakeholder influence and can confidently work across multiple teams, cultures and priorities to achieve results.
You'll bring:
• 6-10+ years' experience in supply chain, logistics, quality management or operations leadership roles.
• Experience managing distributor, customer or partner-led supply chain networks.
• Strong expertise in inventory management, demand planning and market execution.
• The ability to influence stakeholders across commercial, supply chain and technical functions.
• Experience identifying risks, solving complex operational challenges and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical capability and experience using ERP and reporting systems such as SAP and BI platforms.
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Food Science or a related discipline (preferred).
