Are you a dynamic and experienced HR professional looking for an exciting new challenge? Look no further! We are seeking a Head of People Business Partnering to join our team in Singapore. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success. 

 

As the Head of People Business Partnering, you will lead a global team of People Business Partners and collaborate with the wider People team to deliver best practice people solutions and initiatives. You will be a key member of the People Lead Team, contributing to the overall direction of the Empower People and Culture Strategy and developing best practice people strategies and initiatives that will support the business to thrive, enhancing employee engagement and driving overall performance. 

 

Key Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Strategic Business Partnering - Oversee the strategic business partnering activities of Zespri globally, leading a global team to deliver expert advice on various aspects of people management to achieve business objectives including performance, reward, engagement, development. 
  • Business Advocate - Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with Zespri’s organizational goals, developing People Planning frameworks and leading change management efforts to drive business performance and maintain consistency across global initiatives. 
  • Business Commitment - Ensure Zespri leaders are empowered to lead their teams effectively, leveraging the expertise of the People Team, and fostering a culture of coaching, development, and accountability to optimize employee performance. 
  • Business Insight - Leverage best people practices to align with business objectives, ensuring the People Team receives timely insights on customer priorities to develop proactive solutions, collaborating to implement and update policies and initiatives, utilizing HR analytics to enhance organizational effectiveness and drive business outcomes. 
  • Team Leadership - Develop a purpose led, values driven, high-performing global business partnering team by providing vision, empowerment, and growth opportunities, fostering clear communication, trust, and diversity appreciation to continuously progress and celebrate success. 
  • Zespri Culture - Lead and drive a purpose-driven culture of high performance, ensuring Zespri values are embraced and demonstrated, prioritizing people engagement, proactive communication, and advocacy both internally and externally. 
  • Business Planning & Budgetary Management - Drive the development, management, and reporting of the People business partnering plan and budgets, ensuring effective project execution, proactive cost management, sound returns on investment, and regulatory compliance with clear risk mitigation strategies. 

Who are you?

 

We are looking for a Global Human Resources professional who has the ability to showcase their strategic business partnering skills. Having led and developed high-performing teams, you will have the proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization while solving people-related business strategies and challenges. You will also possess:     

  

  • An extensive knowledge of HR-related disciplines, functions, and the organization’s specific HR operating model.  
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.  
  • A business operations mindset with the ability to effectively understand costs to the business, how profits are generated and are able to interpret the organization’s strategy including approach, products, operating processes and customer base.   
  • Strong consulting agility from understanding the organization value chain from the R&D to supply chain and understands how assigned functional units tie into and support the performance of the entire enterprise.   
  • Excellent ability to grasp that HR solutions need to synchronize with and tackle the strategies, structures, and challenges inherent in businesses. 
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships based on trust and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.  
  • A true focus on the voice, perspective, and business needs of the primary internal customer. 
  • Minimum degree level qualification preferably in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Business Management.
