What's the role?


Based in Shanghai & reporting to Senior Marketing Manager, the Social Content Manager will upgrade Zespri's communication capability on key digital platforms in China, developing brand recognition strategy, product recommendation and increase consumer engagement.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Develop long term and short term plan for both RED and Douyin, including social content strategy and implementation plan in line with overall brand communication strategies 
  • Develop social seeding agency pool and working process with right mix of social seeding capability/KPI management and service quality.
  • Develop social KOL strategy, manage KOL pool with right processes and data tools under aligned guidelines with effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead day to day work of social content and KPI management with social seeding agency, including execution, tracking and performance optimization at timely manner.
  • Collaborate with campaign communication team to support campaign landing through KOL seeding during campaign period, to ensure smooth content connection and execution quality
  • Collaborate with internal cross function teams to build full loop model of content-to-conversion with solid data and KPI guideline in order to maximize the scalability of brand to business digitally 
  • Provide regular report to broad commercial team with KPI delivery, insights obtained, and deployment plan to keep a virtual cycle of performance enhancement over time. 
  • Lead the innovation practice and culture of both internal team and external partner, keep up to date the most uptrends of China market best practices in a regular frequency
  • Budget management across A&P planning, spend and KPI tracking


Who are you?


This role is a critical part of Zespri’s digital marketing capability, and will thrive to introduce innovative social content best practices from the market. The successful candidate will have:


  •  5+ years’ experience in brand communication specialized in social marketing in FMCG multinational company or top tier content & commerce platforms/agency
  • Strong brand team experience 
  • In-depth knowledge of digital landscape 
  • Deep understanding of the mechanism and interaction of each key social platform
  • Strong KOL/influencer and content marketing experience
  • A spirit of collaboration, integrity & ownership
  • Be a strong team player
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills due to the nature of  the job
  • Holds a Bachelors degree
