The Regional Operations Supervisor - Central China role is a global position, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Operations Manager - Greater China.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of Zespri fruit across the Central China region, managing end-to-end supply chain operations, quality performance, customer fulfilment, and third-party logistics providers. Working closely with customers, service providers, and internal stakeholders, you'll help deliver exceptional operational outcomes while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

•    Managing end-to-end supply chain execution and customer fulfilment across the Central China region
•    Overseeing regional quality management and supporting initiatives to minimise fruit loss and improve outcomes
•    Managing operational budgets, tracking costs, and identifying efficiency opportunities
•    Leading and managing third-party logistics providers across warehousing, inventory, transportation, ripening, and packing operations
•    Building strong relationships with customers, regulatory authorities, service providers, and internal stakeholders
•    Supporting customer education and engagement initiatives to improve kiwifruit quality management and handling practices
•    Contributing to supply chain projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Greater China market

With experience in supply chain operations, logistics, quality assurance, food production, or FMCG operations, you are a highly organised and solutions-focused professional who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and delivering operational excellence.

 

You will meet the following selection criteria:

 

•    Experience in an operations, logistics, supply chain, or quality management role, ideally at supervisor level or above
•    Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and third-party logistics operations
•    Experience working within food production, fresh produce, food processing, or FMCG environments
•    Knowledge of food quality and safety systems such as HACCP and GMP
•    Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills
•    Ability to analyse issues, influence outcomes, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
