About The Role

 

 

This is a newly created role to generate the top-class digital marketing strategies and programs on our owned media & owned E-Commerce as the leading food brand, based in Korea. In this matured / competitive food category, Zespri keeps evolving the business – Digital owned media and contents are one of the key growth driver. We are looking forward to working with someone who are ambitious, strategic, and agile to lead this exciting area together with us.
As Data Analytical (Associate) Manager, supporting Greater China (GC), you will be responsible for understanding consumer, shopper and retail insights, as well as tracking performance of the marketing investments. This role reflects the growing strategic importance of Greater China as a launch market, in order to understand better our target consumer and shopper. As our business becomes more data driven, there is an increased need to ‘harvest data’ as well as ‘analyze data’ from shoppers, consumers, and the context that impacts them in our regions.

 

 

 

Accountabilities

 

 

 

As Data Analytical (Associate) Manager, you will 

  •   Execute market research projects from end to end in GC to understand consumers, shoppers, retail insights:
  • design, create intuitive data visualizations using Power BI dashboards to create better insights for different stakeholders (Marketing, Trade marketing & Sales teams)
  • Track and analyze performance of in-store executions, shopper behavior, brand performance, and media investments across the markets.
  • Drive for customer oriented business insight, and deeply co-work with customers and retailers to create the business insight and shopper insight
  • Monitor and analyze data from retailer regarding offtake and shopper profile & behavior, and draw implications as well as make recommendation to customer business.
  • Reconcile customer data with external data source to form complete picture of our business position, and draw implications as well as make recommendation into entire SOP cycle.
  • Build up the industry data monitor system from different fruit trade associations/public data platform 
  • Execute the global creative development research process for the GC, to guarantee quality of our creative, which support both brand and sales growth
  • Support on digital platform analysis generation.
  • Support EC data platform analysis for category landscape, brand performance, pricing trend, new cultivar performance.
  • Qingbaotong monthly review on JD/Tmall will be added. 
  • Databank/JD review on shopper insight
  • Provide DDM ( data driven marketing program) local landing data input and data analytics support 
  • Capture the trends of category, channel, competition in GC to address Growth team’s priorities and ambitions
  • Support for global market research projects – involves planning & organizing local market research projects with the global research partner, including annual consolidation of global topics
  • Build relationships with the marketing, sales and strategy teams including active participation in stakeholder meetings 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

 

 

•    University degree in marketing/business/ statistics related majors
•    Minimum: 5 years+ of related experience in market analysis area 
•    Preferred: Client side experience.  
•    Good at interpersonal & communication skill, and fluent in English communication.
•    Ability to work with external and internal parties in China and outside of China effectively to collect the information and exchange market perspectives. 
•    Comfortable working in a multinational environment.
•    Quick learner and understands the commercial implications of market research 
•    Proactive to learn and has a growth mindset
•    Master in Microsoft Power points/Excel
•    Fluent in English communication due to the nature of the scope
•    Good communication skills to partnership with different working styles. 
•    Good analytical skills and good at explaining business implication beyond facts and numbers.
•    Ability to implement market study projects and articulate the implication to business plan.
•    Good understanding on basic modeling skills and SPSS related basic data processing software.
