Zespri is the world’s leading kiwifruit brand, known for premium quality, strong science backed health credentials, and meaningful connections with consumers. As we continue to grow in a highly mature and competitive food category in Korea, we are seeking an ambitious, strategic, and agile Brand Manager to lead consumer marketing and brand campaigns that drive both brand growth and sustainable business impact.

 

Based in Korea, this 9-month contract role plays a critical part in strengthening Zespri’s cultural relevance and positioning the brand as a trusted symbol of health and quality in everyday life.

 

Key Accountabilities include:

 

  • Drive the development and execution of locally relevant marketing communications aligned to Zespri’s global brand strategy, co leading consumer communications and creative development while owning local media planning with support from global and regional teams.
  • Lead the development and execution of health PR strategies tailored to the Korea market, establishing clear frameworks, investment principles, and success measures. Drive impactful initiatives that build credibility in Zespri’s health benefits and clearly differentiate the brand from competitors.
  • Build strong partnerships with external agencies to deliver provocative, memorable, and culturally resonant integrated campaigns that drive brand differentiation and measurable business outcomes.
  • Own consumer insight and research to underpin brand and business decisions, partnering with global teams on key studies and leading locally relevant research to drive growth and strategic clarity.
  • Own marketing investment management to drive ROI and sustainable growth, leading annual consumer promotion and A&P budgeting, continuously optimising effectiveness, and managing monthly A&P, PR, and PO processes.
  • Contribute to Global Projects through supporting and contributing to key global initiatives, representing the Korea market and ensuring alignment with global priorities.
  • Provide operational leadership by supporting the team on end‑to‑end marketing A&P  operations, including purchase order coordination, invoice verification, and cost settlement management, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficient execution of marketing activities.

With at least eight years brand marketing experience (in FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, or Food & Beverage) you will also possess: 

 

  • 8+ years leading brand, advertising, or promotional projects, with full agency management and internal process ownership.
  • Proven experience working cross functionally with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Strong track record collaborating with global and regional marketing teams in a matrix environment.
  • Hands on experience in consumer research (quantitative and qualitative), with strong analytical skills to interpret and apply insights.
  • Detail oriented, trustworthy team player who ensures full compliance with brand standards, governance, and guidelines.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal).
