As our Test Automation Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our transformation - leading the charge with intelligent, scalable, and reusable automated solutions. This is a hands-on, visible role where you’ll shape how we deliver quality across our digital products and platforms, working closely with both internal teams and external partners.

Key accountabilities include: 

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts across functional, regression, integration, and API testing areas.
• Building and evolving test automation frameworks to support continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines, web, and SAP applications.
• Coordinating test planning and execution schedules between internal automation development and external testing activities.
• Championing the use of automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca and Postman.
• Managing test environments, data, and version control of test scripts.
• Collaborating with cross-functional agile and solution delivery teams, embedding automation early and maintaining it effectively.
• Managing relationships with outsourced testing providers, ensuring delivery to quality standards and timelines.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across both internal automation development and external testing service delivery.
• Providing timely and accurate test reports, including defect documentation, root cause analysis, and recommendations.
• Mentoring team members and uplifting testing capability across the Digital team.

You’re a quality-focused automation specialist who brings technical expertise and a collaborative approach to everything you do. 

You will also meet the following criteria:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for SAP and web platforms, with at least 2 years’ experience managing or coordinating external testing providers
• ISTQB certification or equivalent (mandatory) .
• Proven skills in creating automated tests and frameworks using modern tools - Tricentis Tosca Automation Level 2 certification highly desirable.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of both automated and manual testing methodologies.
• Understanding of API testing and tools like Tosca and Postman.
• Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and containerisation (Azure).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for engaging with digital stakeholders, EPMO, and external vendors.
• Awareness and willing to experiment with  AI-assisted automation and always curious about upcoming testing trends.
