Join our dynamic Finance Systems and Master Data (FSMD) team, where we take charge of managing and maintaining the quality of data within the Finance function. Our team is at the heart of ensuring that our finance systems run smoothly and efficiently.


As a Finance Master Data Coordinator within the FSMD team, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day monitoring of master data creation and maintenance. Your focus will be on managing our business partners, including customers and suppliers, by validating and enriching requests to meet business requirements. This is your opportunity to be part of a team that values precision, quality, and collaboration.


Please note this is an 8 month fixed term contract.


The Finance Master Data Coordinator will provide support to stakeholders in Zespri master data systems (e.g. Syniti), support may be in the form of;
•    SME for Finance Master Data
•    Primary point of contact for the business in issue resolution,
•    Providing training on tools to wider Zespri business & internally within Finance.


Master Data Responsibilities:
•    Process requests for establishing and maintaining business partners, ensuring correct roles are assigned and used globally
•    Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business partner master data setup, providing advice on rules, guidelines, and management approaches
•    Resolve escalations and exceptions in master data management processes, including queries from other business units
•    Perform data quality monitoring, cleansing, and enrichment tasks
•    Build relationships with key stakeholders to support continuous improvement of processes & data quality
•    Contribute to defining key performance indicators for data quality & process management
•    Develop and deliver training material to end users
•    Maintain key master data for FlexiPurchase processes and manage connections with credit card providers


Finance Systems and Master Data Responsibilities:
•    Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of processes
•    Maintain process documentation for tasks performed by the Finance Systems and Master Data team
•    Manage external banking portals used by Treasury and Accounts Payable & assist the wider Finance team with clearing backlogs and other tasks as needed
•    Support the implementation and application of Finance policies and procedures
•    Engage in team meetings and functional events
•    Behave consistently with Zespri values and hold colleagues to the same standards

We are looking for a driven individual who is customer centric & a strong collaborator. You will also have:


•    Experience in functional financial systems role directly supporting end users
•    Familiarity with master data processes
•    A tertiary qualification in a business or commerce (desirable).
