We’re looking for a Head of Global Integrated Business Planning to lead the next stage of maturity for Zespri’s IBP capability and shape how we connect strategy, demand, supply and financial planning across our global business based out of our Mount Maunganui office.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this senior leadership role will establish the vision, strategy, systems and ways of working needed to embed a world-class, enterprise-wide planning capability. You’ll lead the development of a planning framework that gives Zespri a single, aligned view of performance, risks and opportunities, enabling better decisions and sustainable value creation.
Leading a global team and working closely with Regional Presidents and Heads of Finance and leaders across Sales, Supply Chain and Operations., you’ll ensure planning is connected, insight-led and focused on optimising volume, revenue, cost and margin outcomes.
This is a role with significant enterprise impact. More than process excellence, it’s about creating a step change in how Zespri plans, performs and responds to complexity, moving from periodic coordination to continuous, insight-led decision support that helps maximise orchard gate returns and deliver our long-term growth ambitions.
You will:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive global IBP strategy aligned to Zespri’s organisational strategy.
- Build and lead a high-performing IBP team, providing clear direction, coaching and capability development.
- Lead senior-level cross-functional collaboration with Regional Presidents, Regional Heads of Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations to drive alignment in planning and execution.
- Govern short-term and long-term IBP across Zespri, including the ongoing development of a global standardised process and system.
- Lead the deployment of IBP strategy across regions, ensuring consistency and best-practice planning processes across the global IBP structure.
- Provide data and insights to support demand and supply planning, allocations and in-market decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement across IBP systems, reporting, people and processes to increase maturity over time.
- Support the digitisation of IBP through process and system transformation.
- Build strong relationships across the business, challenging assumptions, introducing new perspectives and lifting the quality of decision-making.

We’re looking for an experienced IBP, S&OP or supply chain leader who can operate at enterprise level and bring together commercial insight, global planning discipline and strong people leadership.
You’ll bring:
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, demand planning and Integrated Business Planning, ideally with at least 15 years’ experience.
- Senior-level corporate IBP, S&OP or supply chain experience in a market-led FMCG company and/or distribution group.
- Experience leading regional and/or global IBP leaders.
- Strong knowledge of Integrated Business Planning excellence, including systems, reporting, governance and continuous improvement.
- Experience with end-to-end IBP systems and technical solutions, such as SAP.
- Proven experience leading and managing change in a complex or multinational business environment.
- Exceptional leadership, influencing and collaboration skills.
- A logical, commercially minded and insight-led approach to problem solving.
- A values-led leadership style, with drive, energy and a continuous improvement mindset.
- A tertiary qualification in business, supply chain management or a related field is required, and an MBA or advanced degree would be advantageous.
