The Zespri Grower Service Centre (GSC) is key to our mission, centralizing grower and stakeholder communications to ensure best practice in contact handling. As a crucial support role, GSC bridges Zespri, its growers, and the industry, ensuring smooth and effective interactions.


Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Engage with growers via telephone, email, and written correspondence, building strong relationships.
  • Understand grower requirements and link them to relevant Zespri services.
  • Seek and act on opportunities to benefit both the grower and Zespri.
  • Quickly resolve grower issues with in-depth knowledge of Zespri’s business processes.
  • Validate and maintain precise grower details in our database.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing development, by identifying and suggesting improvements for process or system issues.
  • Provide administrative cover and support as needed.
  • Assist with annual contract and registration processes.
  • Keep up-to-date with Zespri and industry publications to manage contacts proactively.
  • Ensure grower and stakeholder issues are resolved within agreed KPIs.
  • Provide system support in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Support the Grower Relations team with core projects.

We’re looking for someone with a customer-focused mindset with a “can-do” attitude who meets the following selection criteria:


  • Proven customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other admin tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities
  • Experience in call center operations
  • Technical skills in SAP, CRM packages, SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to work independently
  • Industry knowledge is preferred but not essential
