As our Global Cost & Operations Insights Lead, you'll play a key role in helping us do that smarter, faster, and more efficiently.

 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Strategy & Insights Manager, this global role sits at the heart of our Global Supply Chain team, turning data into insights, ideas into action, and opportunities into real business value. You'll help shape the future of our supply chain by identifying cost-saving opportunities, improving performance, supporting strategic projects, and providing the insights that help leaders make great decisions.

 

You’ll be responsible for:

 

•    Turning complex supply chain data into meaningful insights that drive better business decisions 
•    Leading reporting and analysis across cost-to-serve, cost of quality, and operational performance 
•    Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and unlock value across our global supply chain 
•    Partnering with teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Sustainability, and Digital to solve complex business challenges 
•    Leading strategic projects, business cases, and modelling that support Zespri's long-term growth ambitions 
•    Supporting senior leaders with trusted insights, recommendations, and performance reporting 
•    Driving a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making across the business

You're naturally curious, commercially savvy, and love connecting the dots between data, strategy, and real-world outcomes. You enjoy solving complex problems, challenging the status quo, and working with people at all levels to influence positive change.

 

With proven experience in supply chain, operations, analytics, or a related commercial environment, you'll bring:

 

•    8+ years' experience in a commercial, supply chain, operations, or business insights role
•    Strong experience analysing data, building models, and translating insights into action
•    A track record of leading projects that deliver operational improvements or cost savings
•    Strong commercial acumen and the ability to see both the big picture and the detail
•    Confidence engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders across a global business
•    Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts
•    A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
