The Finance Project Analyst will work as part of an agile team supporting our Global Finance teams in delivering key strategic projects and improvement initiatives.
The role requires strong collaboration with Global Finance teams and cross-functional teams including Digital, Supply Chain, Sustainability and HR. The Finance Project Analyst will deliver agile analytics capability across projects, systems, processes and reporting as and when required.
This position would suit someone who has a strong customer focus, finds it easy to be on the same wavelength as others with a desire to make people’s lives simpler and easier through exceptional system and process improvements. You won’t shy away from a challenge even if you don’t have all the answers – what is key is your ability to break down a problem, work with stakeholders and identify a way forward.
You be responsible for:
- Conducting business analysis and providing insights by collaborating with stakeholders, validating business requirements, and translating business needs into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Manage, support and deliver projects using an appropriate methodology (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), including identifying and managing risks and issues, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.
- Identifying and documenting opportunities to streamline, standardise, or enhance financial processes and reporting.
- Supporting change management initiatives related to the implementation of new systems, tools, or processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational excellence and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of customer needs and act as a trusted partner and advisor.

With a strong analytical mindset and project management capability, you will also meet the following selection criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (highly desirable)
- Accounting qualification such as ICANZ
- 5 years' experience in a global finance function for a large corporate organisation
- Project Management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent projects and initiatives
- Business Analyst skills to document requirements, scope and outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills and can-do attitude
- Understanding of finance processes, data management, and financial systems integration with large and complex enterprise systems such as SAP S4, GRC, and SAC
- Ability to communicate complex ideas / systems to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- AI, data or programming experience (advantageous).
