As a Commercialisation Analyst within our Commercialisation function, you’ll play a pivotal role in turning ideas into commercially viable products, services and technologies. Working at the intersection of innovation, finance and commercial teams, you’ll provide robust analysis, financial modelling and clear insights that inform investment decisions, product launches and market entry strategies across the commercialisation portfolio.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Analysing commercial data to assess opportunities, risks and value creation for new products or services.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to evaluate commercial viability, ROI and breakeven points.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking for product launches and portfolio initiatives.
  • Leading the financial analysis component of business cases for new commercial opportunities.
  • Developing scenarios, testing assumptions and providing clear recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Preparing dashboards, reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Partnering closely with Commercialisation Leads, Innovation, Finance, Marketing and in market teams.
  • Ensuring data integrity, consistency and quality across commercialisation projects.

You’re a commercially minded analyst who thrives in ambiguity and can distil complex information into clear, compelling insights. Agile in your approach and comfortable moving at pace, you bring a strong focus on accuracy and detail. You’re able to tell a persuasive story through data, confidently presenting findings and recommendations that influence decisions. Working across multiple initiatives, you balance analytical rigour with big picture thinking and partner effectively with stakeholders to drive better outcomes.

 

You will also bring: 

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in a commercial analysis, financial modelling or business analytics role.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, STEM or a related discipline (highly desirable).
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis capability.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using tools such as Power BI.
  • Proven ability to build and evaluate business cases for new initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights.
  • Confidence working cross functionally and engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced environment.
