As a Process & Automation Specialist at Zespri, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and embedding our strategy for achieving operational process brilliance. Reporting to the Information, Data, and Business Process Leader, you'll bring thought leadership in Business Process Management, helping to shape the future of our global operations through Process Excellence.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to elevate Business Process maturity across Zespri. You'll advocate for process ownership and lead initiatives that leverage tools and technologies to uncover and drive process improvement opportunities, specifically Process Automation.
  • Enable Process Owners to propose and set global standards for business processes, ensuring consistency and alignment with Zespri’s overarching goals.
  • Implement and manage Zespri’s Business Process Management (BPM) approach, providing expert advice and ongoing support to our leaders and teams.
  • Drive and support Process Governance forums, ensuring that our processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with best practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Champion Business Process thinking and tooling in both transformation and Business-as-Usual (BAU) activities.
  • Maintain and optimise Zespri’s Business Process Architecture (BPA), ensuring the consistent use of tools like SAP Signavio and Celonis.
  • Establish and advocate for a framework of global process standards, driving consistency and excellence.
  • Contribute to process measurements and analytics through process mining, and implement performance reporting on BPM KPIs.
  • Facilitate the education and training of BPM across the business, ensuring widespread adoption and understanding.
  • Work with the IDP Leader to drive the strategy for Process Automation, identifying and delivering automation opportunities and solutions that enhance business efficiency.

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with certifications in leading BPM methodologies (e.g., BPTrends), continuous improvement (Lean, SixSigma), and step-change innovation methodologies.
  • You bring hands-on experience in Business Process Management, with deep knowledge of BPM methodologies and tools.
  • You have a proven track record of excellent stakeholder engagement, with the ability to inspire business stakeholders to strive for improvement
  • You have a strong analytic mindset, problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
  • You’re proficient in BPMN 2.0 modeling notation and experienced with tools such as Signavio, Celonis, and other BPM-related software.
  • You excel in both written and oral communication, capable of producing clear, accurate, and succinct process maps.
