He aha te mahi? What's the role?

The Marketing Executive Iberia plays a key role in reinforcing the European Marketing team, with primary responsibility for supporting the execution of the Zespri brand and commercial strategy in Spain and Portugal. The role contributes to building brand equity, driving demand and supporting sales performance through the effective delivery of local ATL and BTL marketing initiatives, strong operational discipline and cross-functional collaboration.

The role works closely with the Marketing Manager Iberia, the European Marketing team, the Iberia Sales team, agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure best-in-class execution, financial discipline and continuous improvement across all marketing activities.

This will be achieved by:

•    Supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of the annual marketing plan for Spain and Portugal, in alignment with the European strategy.
•    Leading and coordinating local BTL initiatives across key consumer touchpoints, including brand activations, consumer events, PR, influencer plans, and owned media content strategy.
•    Owning and managing the BTL marketing budget.
•    Supporting the planning and execution of local ATL campaigns, ensuring strong integration with BTL activities.
•    Contributing to the local activation of Zespri’s nutrition-led brand strategy, including children’s programs and healthcare professional communications.
•    Leading, with the support of the Marketing Manager, the development, planning, and execution of the health marketing plan, as well as managing health partnerships (e.g., schools, health organizations) and content strategies for the Iberia market.
•    Leading the development of Zespri’s digital communication strategy for Spain and Portugal.
•    Analyzing market, consumer, and shopper insights, as well as competitive activity and campaign performance, to drive continuous improvement.
•    Managing the administrative and financial processes related to the marketing budget (Purchase-to-Pay), including PO/SES creation, spend tracking, and invoice follow-up.
•    Preparing clear marketing reports and updates for local and European stakeholders.
•    Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and agencies to ensure effective execution and strong ways of working.

Ko wai koe? Who are you?

 

We are looking for an individual with 3-5 years of marketing experience within the FMCG sector. You will also meet the following criteria:

 

  • Possess a graduate degree, preferably in business administration, marketing or similar.
  • Specialized training or background in Digital Marketing is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of marketing/ brand experience (in FMCG, Consumer Products or Fresh Fruit sector is a plus). 
  • Strong proven experience in online development (digital media campaigns, SEO, SEM, marketing database, social media management or website analytics tools).
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing computer software and valuable knowledge of online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
  • Previous experience working with SAP system is a plus.
  • Native level of Spanish & fluent in English
  • Position located in Madrid, combining remote and office work location.
