About The Role
This roles core responsibilities relate to the creation and collection of grower and production data as well as the management of data flow throughout the supply chain to allow for the successful delivery of the season. The ZGS Korea business is highly cross functional and as well as opportunities for exposure to other parts of the business this role will also work closely alongside Zespri’s Korean Post-Harvest suppliers. The ZGS Korea business is currently in a significant growth phase as recently planted orchards become productive and annual harvest volumes increase. As a result this role presents plenty of opportunities to contribute to the to further develop of key areas of the business such as inventory management and really make your mark on the industry.
Accountabilities
- Overseeing the pre/post harvest system processes
- Collection and analysis of the pre/post harvest data
- Management CRM program
- Ensure the Freshpack process completed by the industry and support suppliers if required
- Undertake the system training and update the training materials (Freshpack)
- Support for the load out process relating the pre/post harvest system
- Support for analysis of quality data, spray diary, residue and pre/post harvest data
- Collate the crop estimation data with industry and input the data in the system
- Conduct the suppliers registrations and maintain the up-to-date information
- Support for the quality system implement
- Management of the package materials for suppliers
- Maintain the quality manual updates
- Support the pre/post harvest activities planning and execution
- Support any ad hoc project work
- Report postharvest trial work where required
- Manage CRM (Grower Relationship Management ) program to ensure the industry information accurate in the system
Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualification preferred
- Three years plus experience working in a similar role in a commercial organization desired
- Horticultural or Agricultural exposure and or experience
- Experience with data management and analysis in a role
- Ability for strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
- Good Data Management skills
- Exceptional project and time management skills with the ability to plan activities/projects well in advance taking into account resources required and changing circumstances
- Strong analytical skills allowing for the breakdown and understanding of various forms of information to aid good judgment and decision-making
- Strong communication skills to establish positive and good relationships with key stakeholders, staff and industry
- Works well in a high pressure environment with the ability to positively cope with challenges
- Strong initiative and energetic demeanour
- Able to communicate well verbally and in written English and Korean with internal and external stakeholders
- Flexibility to deal with change in the face of uncontrollable events (i.e. effects of severe weather events)
