We are seeking a SIS Operations Specialist to join our fantastic team in Italy - reporting to the SIS & Data Manager. Based in either Bologna or Aprilia, this role provides support and data to ZGS Europe suppliers, stakeholders and teams on the WMS used in Zespri ensuring seamless packing and loading operations. 

 

Please note this is a fixed term contract of 24 months.

 

 

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Training & Support of Suppliers  (60% of the time) - provide support and training for the Sungold & Hayward  Suppliers for relevant software/systems (or other WMS) and coordinate support requests with software vendor and and other parties. 
  • EDI management – EDI troubleshooting, assisting with Season Start Setup for all systems and maintenance of ZGS related data & data control in addition to using SAP ECC and S4/HANA to ensure dataflow at all times and resolve data issues.   
  • Data Integrity - assist the ZGS SIS & Data Manager in ensuring end-to-end accuracy of ZGS Data from the enter of the fruit to the suppliers warehouse till loadout. 
  • Operations - identify potential gaps or improvements to enhance better processes and standardization across ZGS and the wider company as well as managing issues as they arise and proactively communicate cross-functionally.

We are looking for a driven team player with first-hand support experience where the Supply Information System is crucial for the business. You possess a good working knowledge of SAP ECC- S4HANA. With excellent attention to details, the successful candidate will also have: 

 

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Radfords Frespack- Oryx Flex2B) 
  • An analytical mind and a passion for troubleshooting 
  • A proactive attitude, service mindset and learning capability 
  • Fluency in English and Italian - both written and verbal  
  • Advanced developed computer skills (Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook) essential.  
  • SQL and PowerBi are a plus not a must  
  • A high school diploma or equivalent 
  • Flexibility around work hours, particularly through the main season (September – March), as some weekend work and out-of-hours accessibility by phone/email required through the main season
