He aha te mahi? What's the role?

 

Based in Bologna, the Operations Assistant will assist the Supply Chain team in planning, creating and communicating the European and international market programs.

 

This is an internship for 6 months to be based in Bologna.

 

Accountabilities:

 

  • Assist the team to create the European and Overseas market orders in due time.
  • Assist the Operation team in doing fruit allocation activities for the European market.
  • Ensure all the loading plans provided are accurate and communicate them to suppliers.
  • Collaborate to create the European loading plan for the European Market.
  • Assist the Supply Chain team with other duties as required.

We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, reliable and a strong interest in the fresh food industry. The successful candidate will have: 

  • Ability to communicate well in English (both written and verbal). French is an advantage. 
  • Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Logistics or export experience is an advantage.

  • Gross base salary of EUR1,200.
