About The Role
The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for all Supply Planning activities and optimization of Finished Goods, Bulk and Packaging material inventory levels for the European Supply Network.
This role is open for Antwerp, Zeebrugge or remotely from Switzerland.
Accountabilities
The main responsibilities from the role include
- Finished Goods Production/ Capacity planning and Detailed Scheduling of the Operations Facility
- Finished Goods and Bulk Replenishment Planning for all EU Hubs
- Packaging material Purchase and Replenishment planning for the production facilities
- Inventory planning and optimization over the Supply network balancing demand and supply constraints and creating end-to-end visibility of inventory
- Product availability and support Product Allocation process with Customer Support dept
- Seasonal Phase in Phase out planning
- Facilitate the monthly Supply Review Meeting in the S&OP process
- Lead Review meetings with 3PL partners for inventory and production planning
- Provide monthly structured reporting to support review meetings
- Define inventory policy for all purchased/ manufactured items in line with financial targets
- Maintain and measure performance and analyse route causes for continuous improvements
- Manage and maintain planning software and determine optimization parameters
- Project lead for advanced planning tool implementation and process improvements
- Provide input into the yearly budget process and a key player in scenario planning
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent by experience
- Ideally prior 3-5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Planning function
- Advanced Analytical skills
- Proven knowledge of planning methodologies and understanding of their financial and operational impacts
- Demonstrated Planning & Prioritization capabilities
- Knowlegde of SAP/APO or other supply planning software is preferred
- Project Management experience
- People Management skills (having at least 1 year of experience leading direct reports)
- Fluent in english. Other language is a plus
