Based in Antwerp and reporting to the IBP Lead Europe & Finance Director Europe and North America, the  Supply Planning Manager is responsible for all Supply Planning activities and optimization of Finished Goods, Bulk and Packaging material inventory levels for the European Supply Network.

 

Key accountabilities include: 

 

  • Team Management: of three Supply Planning Specialists
  • Managing production schedules and capacity planning
  • Planning for finished goods and bulk replenishment across EU hubs
  • Handling purchase and replenishment of packaging materials
  • Balancing demand and supply, optimizing inventory
  • Supporting product allocation with the Customer Support department
  • Leading weekly review meetings with stakeholders
  • KPI Reporting: tracking and reporting on key performance indicators like capacity planning, inventory days on hand
  • Performance Improvement: Measuring performance and analysing root causes for continuous improvement
  • Project Leadership: Leading projects for advanced planning tool implementation
  • Budget Input: Contributing to the yearly budget process and scenario planning

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the ability to maintain a strategic helicopter view while also being hands-on and detail-oriented with a first experience in team management.  You will also have:

 

  • 5 years experience in a Supply Chain Planning role (such as Supply Planning, Production Planning, Material Planning, Logistics Operations Specialist or Inventory Planning)
  • Strong people management experience ensuring you put the people you manage in the first place and excel in cross-functional communication with different stakeholders priorities
  • Expertise in planning methodologies and understanding of their financial and operational impacts allowing you to build a strong partnership with the Sales, Finance and Operations leadership teams
  • Worked with SAP/APO or other supply planning software
  • Have a passion for problem solving, be analytical with demonstrated prioritization capability 
  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Finance (or equivalent experience)
