Reporting to the Operations Support Lead, the Supply Chain Assistant is a member of the Operations Support Team.
Key Responsibilities include:
Purchase, Invoicing, Budgets
- Create, maintain PO and monitor invoices.
- Establish new vendors and ensure alignment with suppliers, customers, service providers.
New Zealand Season Specific Tasks
- Manage documentation for vessels from New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and proper distribution to the relevant 3PL.
- Oversee pre-discharge surveys and monitor container malfunctions.
- Initiate and calculate insurance claims.
Quality Claims and Operational Support
- Act as a backup for fruit quality claim and address customer requests.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses ideally three years’ experience within Food Production, FMCG, Logistics or Retail companies.
You will also have:
- Previous customer support experience or supply chain analyst
- A strong interest in financial matters
- Analytical capability to anticipate budget forecasts and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to handle and prioritize various tasks during the workday.
- Team player with a positive and collaborative mindset.
- Good communication skills to interact transparently with multiple internal (sales) and external stakeholders (Supply Chain, 3PL, Customers).
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Dutch
- Good business acumen with an understanding of business operations and market dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Management, Finance.
