He aha te mahi? What's the role?
Reporting to the Head of Sales Europe, the Regional Market Manager Benelux is responsible for leading the Sales function across the Benelux region and working in close partnership with the local Marketing team to execute the Zespri commercial strategy. The role is accountable for strengthening the Zespri brand and delivering market performance in line with the Market Development Framework, with a strong focus on consumer and shopper outcomes, customer satisfaction, distribution, and annual volume and value targets.
The role translates the global and Europe Zespri strategy into a clear, winning Benelux market approach and ensures disciplined, high-quality execution. Given Benelux represents a mix of established and enhanced markets, the focus is on maximising value while delivering ambitious volume growth, increasing penetration and purchase frequency, and capturing opportunities within a dynamic and competitive market environment. This includes unlocking additional value through targeted innovation, working closely with Marketing and global teams to support new product introductions, trials, and category development initiatives in one of Zespri’s most advanced markets.
The Market Manager plays a critical role in understanding market dynamics, shaping the local strategy, and ensuring best-in-class execution across channels and customers. Strong distributor and retail management capabilities are essential to succeed in the Benelux route-to-market context and to build high-impact partnerships that drive sustainable growth.
As a member of the Europe Sales leadership team, the role provides broader commercial leadership and contributes to European priorities and decision-making. The position leads the Benelux commercial team, consisting of Key Account Managers, an Account Manager, and Trade Marketing, while working closely with Marketing through a matrix structure.
