Based in Antwerp, reporting to Head of Supply Chain – Europe, the Operations Support Lead is a permanent role yet project based role that will rotate in different departments allowing great exposure and learnings. The key focus of this role will be to support specific departments to reinforce the daily operations, cover leave across the teams and be able to lead & coach different teams as required.


This role is an opportunity to rotate within different areas of the Supply Chain department and build relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales, IBP, Finance) and external stakeholders (Customers, Distributors, 3PLs). Depending on the assignment, the Customer & Operations Support Lead will lead a team while balancing the delivery of operational tasks as a solo contributor.


When supporting departments (such as the Claims & Operations and European Supply Chain), the key focus will be providing leadership to the specific team and every team member is empowered to work. In addition to planning and operational activities being a focus, you will also positively influence and partner when making decisions relating to the operational, strategic and people areas.

We are looking for a highly agile and pragmatic individual who has solid team management experience within relevant industries such as Food Production, FMCG, Retail and/or Logistics. The successful candidate will also have:


  • Proven experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, S&OP or claims management
  • Flexible mindset & approach with the ability to balance operational and leadership tasks
  • Highly analytical skills (good with numbers, identify problems, trends and suggest solutions)
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills and able to connect the needs of different functions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills 
  • Good organization skills with an eye for detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP (experience is a plus, otherwise to be acquired) 
  • Fluent English skills as well ability to communicate in one additional European language
