Based in Antwerp, the Regional Brand Development Manager is a senior regional brand custodian. This position is responsible for overseeing all brand communications and ensuring the brand is properly and consistently represented across all the markets within the region. The ambition of this role is to grow one meaningful and globally consistent brand. To achieve that, this position will be responsible for owning the development of the creative assets across ATL touchpoints at a regional level with adaptation at a local level. This position will own the communications planning process, which includes the media and touchpoint strategy, and management of creative and media agencies. This position will need to work collaboratively with local marketing managers on asset development and business needs, the global brand development team to ensure brand consistency, and other heads of regional brand development.

Key Accountabilities

- Communicate the Brand Promise in a compelling and inspiring way, ensuring that it is embedded in all we do in Marketing
- Lift the marketing capabilities for the EU/NA region in brand development
- Be the voice of the consumers to ensure we are having consumer-centric approach in all our marketing efforts
- Lead the integrated communications plan for the region.
- Work closely with the Global Brand Development team to ensure the brand is represented correctly in the region, led by the Brand Compass and Global Communication Platform
- Be the voice of the region when collaborating on globally-led brand development projects (e.g. global asset development, refinement of brand toolkits, input into long-term brand strategy)  
- Work closely with the regional media & digital strategy Manager to align the regional media strategy and channel principles with the communication brief & campaign idea.
- Work closely with local marketing managers to understand the consumer and market needs to be able to identify where the local market flexes are in the integrated communications plan
- Work with other Regional Brand Development Managers in sharing of best practices and learnings
- Own the regional creative agency relationship
- Deliver on Brand and Marketing KPIs for the region.

We're looking for a team player with 8-10 years in a marketing role in consumer goods (food category a bonus), with 3 years of experience in a multi-market capacity. You will also fulfill the following:

  • Holds tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, communications planning, or related fields
  • Experience in Consumer (or Shopper) research (Quant and Qual) is mandatory.
  • Brand Marketing/Advertising/promotion development project lead experience minimum 8 years.
  • Full agency control & internal process management experience are mandatory.
  • Successfully delivered at a director level and comfortable with managing multiple stakeholders of all levels and across different functions
  • Strong project management capability to ensure timelines, budget, and deliverables are met
  • Digital marketing experience - own contents development.
  • Strong analytical skill to lead the research & read the outcome
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral)
